How should I prepare my pet for the journey?

You are responsible for your pet's behaviour in the taxi. Please bring a blanket to cover the seat, or use a carrier for smaller pets such as cats and small dogs.

Can I travel with a large dog?

We usually carry small and medium-sized pets. If you have a larger dog, add its breed and size in the note to the driver when you book in the app.

How do I pay for a journey with my pet?

Travelling with your pet in a TapTaxi

We want the journey to be comfortable for you, your pet and your driver:

Looking after your pet: Keep your pet calm and safe throughout the journey.
Blanket or carrier: For dogs, we strongly recommend a blanket or protective mat to cover the seat. For cats and smaller pets, use a secure carrier that closes properly.
Pet size: We mainly carry small and medium-sized pets. If you have a larger dog, mention it in your booking note so we can send a car with enough room, such as an estate car.

The driver may ask you to put a muzzle on your dog or keep it on a lead, especially for medium-sized and larger breeds. Bring a muzzle just in case.
